My client is looking for a talented and experienced Cloud Platforms Team Lead to oversee cloud operations and architecture on AWS and Azure platforms. This position demands a deep understanding of cloud technologies, emphasizing the optimization of cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. The Cloud Platforms Team Lead will lead the cloud team, offering guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance, availability, and adherence to security standards

Responsibilities
- Direct the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure to ensure it aligns with business goals and objectives.
- Design and deploy scalable solutions in AWS and Azure, troubleshooting and optimizing systems to maintain peak performance.
- Actively identify opportunities to improve cloud architecture in terms of performance, security, and manageability, collaborating with other IT teams during planning and implementation.
- Manage cloud budgets by forecasting, optimizing costs, and monitoring cloud expenditures.
- Promote the automation of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, and ARM templates.
- Ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements by collaborating closely with security teams on identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
- Supervise daily cloud operations, guiding the team in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents.
- Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, best practices, and procedures to ensure continuity and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Lead and mentor the cloud team, offering guidance and support for the effective delivery of cloud solutions.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices to recommend and implement enhancements.
