Responsibilities & Expectations :
The primary responsibility of the Repair Shop Supervisor is to supervise repair shop personnel, improve safety and work efficiency, and quote repair work.
Responsibilities may include :
- Empower and influence others to adopt proper practices into their regular work duties by demonstrating leadership and expertise and increasing efficiencies of the repair shop.
- Coordinate the day-to-day tasks for the Repair shop.
- Ensure the crew is working safely.
- Create and support Repair quotes.
- Assist with technical training / mentoring and advise direct labor workforce on motor repair / refurbishment techniques.
- Schedule crew for efficient and effective completion of work, maximizing utilization rates.
- Promote and advance the CIPS framework and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as a technical resource for service centers to solve problems, advance jobs, and quote.
- Work to provide an Unmatched Customer Experience with all our efforts.
- Ensure an inclusive and respectful workplace.
- Follow all prescribed policies and remain respectful to co-workers and vendors.
- Assess and relay employees’ personal performance during annual reviews.
