Job description
Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for a Compliance Consultant to fill a 6-month contract located in Waterloo. Please note this position is currently a remote position but may require limited time in office.
As a Compliance Consultant your duties will include but not be limited to :
coDeveloping and reviewing internal privacy policies, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
Developing and reviewing internal procedures and standards to support the Privacy Office Team
Researching and analyzing privacy topics, trends and best practices in relation to internal business requirements for incorporation into policy
Qualifications required for Compliance Consultant include :
University degree or college education in a relevant field
Exceptional communication skills and technical policy writing skills
Experience working in a financial services, regulatory compliance or communications capacity
