Role Description
This is a contract remote Analyst role. The Analyst will be responsible for the following :
1. Reviewing all the project documents before inspection including P&IDs, BMS electrical wiring drawings, bill of materials etc.
2. Pre-filling the appliance data, gathered from the documentation review, into the inspection template specific to the type of appliance to be inspected.
3. Working directly with the field inspectors, recording the inspection data into the template, analyzing the inspection results and preparing the reports for the inspections conducted in accordance with the CSA B149 Codes.
4. Reviewing the proof-of-corrections and helping clients meet the compliance requirements.
5. Responding to any of the clients’ questions regarding the inspection reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or applied technology in one of the disciplines - Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical / Process, and Instrumentation.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as EIT, technologist, or CSA B149.3 field inspector / analyst.
- Knowledge of the industrial processes and the associated heating appliances.
4. Great understanding of the P&IDs, electrical wiring drawings, shutdown key, cause and effect diagram, etc.
5. Good understanding of the burner operation and its control system.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills
7. Ability to work independently and in team to execute the projects while meeting the deadlines.
