Job descriptionCreating presentations and promotional materials to showcase our programs to children and youth Building relationships with youth organizations across the designated province to expand our reach Collaborating with the Community Connection Officer to plan and implement impactful outreach initiatives Researching and connecting with schools, organizations, and families to better understand and meet the needs of underprivileged youth Evaluating youth engagement in our programs and identifying areas for growth and improvement A community platform to pursue your passion. College credits can be earned by volunteering with us. Community of volunteers who take care of one another in times of need. Opportunities to move to leadership positions. Have fun and make a positive impact on the community. Develop interpersonal skills or apply your skills into use to help your community.
About Our OrganizationYoung Mind’s Eye (YME) is a not-for-profit organization aiming to provide educational services to the underprivileged population. Our Organization originally started as our student group Help Young Minds at the University of Alberta. We now focus on establishing our organization on a national scale to serve more youths out there. At YME, we strive to work together as a team, support each other and push each of our programs forward in order to make an impact on our community.

About This Position
We’re seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our Outreach Team! Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic about youth empowerment and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Requirements
A selfless, passion-driven individual committed to serve the community. A high degree of professionalism, ability to learn and adopt new things. Respect, diligence, and a personable manner. Willingness to contribute 1-2 hours per week, flexible at the moment. Alignment with Young Mind's Eye’s values and strong commitment to Young Mind Eye's vision. Able to work as a team in a virtual work setting.
