Job Description

Digital and social remain at the heart of our industry and business. As the first step of nearly all consumer action, it’s critical to have our fingers on the pulse of consumer mindsets and behaviours. The Community Manager will work collaboratively with our strategy, experience, data, creative, and account teams to create integrated social media and influencer campaigns that engage, inspire, and persuade communities and buyers.

This person will be passionate, intuitive, and social in all aspects. A hunger to evolve as quickly as the space, confident to pitch new ideas and adaptable to take on distinct brand voices in one day.

Responsibilities :

  • Assisting team in creating and approving social, video & display assets, ad-copy, creative calendars and other media assets.
  • Community management of comments and customer service complaints across social media channels.
  • Management and sourcing of relevant industry and brand influencers.
  • Support yearly digital, social, and influencer planning initiatives.
  • Gather, report and analyze social media metrics and results, and provide insights from the industry and overall marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with the curation of images to support digital integration.
  • Strategize with the internal creative team to develop social media initiatives and promotions.
  • Perform social listening and other research across digital channels (comfortability handling data and experience with social listening tools an asset).
  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams and partners.
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks and other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • College diploma, at a minimum.
  • Educational background in Communications, Publicis Relations, Marketing, Journalism or English
  • preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a social media / digital marketing role.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French written and spoken an asset.
  • Exceptional oral and interpersonal abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Social Media Advertising platforms (including paid advertising) – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat etc.
  • Working knowledge of digital space including website and online advertising best practices.
  • Solid grasp of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Must possess superior organizational abilities and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
  • Strong sense of urgency and meeting deadlines, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of the consumer packaged goods and eCommerce space (particularly skin care) considered an asset.
