As a key member of their real estate team, you will play a critical role in supporting both client and firm success, managing residential transactions from start to finish.
Role Overview :
In this role, the conveyancer will oversee various administrative and file management tasks, including handling residential sale, purchase, and mortgage files, coordinating with vendors, financial institutions, and clients, and mentoring junior colleagues. You will also maintain file progress, allocate resources, and perform additional administrative duties as needed.
Key Qualifications :
- Experience : Three or more years in a legal assistant role focused on residential real estate.
- Education : LAA or Paralegal certificate / diploma from a recognized institution.
- Skills : Proficiency in document management and industry tools such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, BC Online, MyLTSA, and eConvey.
- Attention to Detail : Ability to handle high volumes with accuracy and thoroughness in a fast-paced setting.
- Team Spirit : Strong collaborative skills and the ability to mentor others while working independently.
- Professional Communication : Effective written and verbal communication skills with colleagues and external clients.
