Position Purpose and Summary
The Email Marketing Specialist advances the Mission of Trinity Western University by executing and optimizing inbound digital marketing initiatives to drive sales growth and customer acquisition across digital channels.
As the tactical champion of our marketing automation funnel and workflows, this individual implements, tracks, and optimizes inbound marketing campaigns—primarily across email and web platforms—to increase qualified visitors and drive funnel conversions.
Key Areas of Accountability
Digital Campaign Coordination
- Coordinate the execution, optimization and reporting of inbound digital marketing campaigns (including Email, Text, SEO, PPC, Social Media, Landing Pages, and Content Marketing).
- Create effective engagement studios that drive customer conversions with relevant messages.
- Development and on-going monitoring of automated communication workflows.
- Manage the digital communications calendar and keep it up to date with relevant messages.
- Ensure brand messages are clearly communicated in campaign copy, workflows and webpages.
- Maintain brand and messaging consistency in accordance with University brand standards.
- Continuously optimize inbound marketing campaigns to achieve positive campaign outcomes.
- Provide copywriting for inbound digital campaigns across all relevant digital channels as needed.

Standards & Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications or English is required.
Experience : 2–3 years in a digital marketing or copywriting role for digital platforms.
