Blanc Labs is in search of an energetic and results-driven Senior Azure Data Architect with over 15 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise data solutions. With expertise in cloud computing, data integrations, data governance, and architecture, this professional excels in crafting high-performance, cost-effective solutions tailored to diverse industries. Proficient in leveraging Microsoft Azure services, such as Fabric, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and Databricks, this role requires deep knowledge of data modeling, enterprise data warehouses, and analytics platforms. With a proven record of driving data strategy, delivering actionable insights, and fostering seamless data management, this role combines technical excellence with exceptional communication and leadership to empower the team to achieve their business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of robust and scalable data architectures across the enterprise, with an initial focus on data lakes / warehouses, data pipelines, and master data management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Create data architecture artifacts and own the architecture governance and practices.
• Define and design innovative Data & Analytics architectures and solutions that leverage the right trade-off between clients' realities, latest and disruptive technologies, current and future business needs, budget constraints, data availability, and resource requirements.
• Oversee the design of the data lake / warehouse infrastructure, ensuring it meets the organization's scalability, security, and performance requirements.
• Promote and implement best practices for data lake / warehouse governance, metadata management, and data catalogs.
• Design and optimize end-to-end data pipelines for efficient data flow and integration, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Work closely with data engineers, BI engineers, and reporting analysts to streamline the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Define and implement master data management strategies to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of critical business data.
• Establish and enforce data quality standards, consistency, and processes across the organization.
• Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for different components of the data architecture.
