Meet the team :

The Clinical Account Manager at Dexcom plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by serving as a clinician resource with expertise in the care of individuals with diabetes. This position requires sophisticated knowledge in the science and practical application of Dexcom's continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology and the broader category of real-time CGM (rtCGM). The role involves working in the field alongside territory business managers, providing product specialist & clinical support, and optimally communicating with healthcare professionals to improve Dexcom's presence in the market.

Where you come in : Sales Team Support :

You will collaborate closely with Territory Business Managers (TBM's) to support sales initiatives. You will conduct continuous field visits and offer product specialist & clinical support to ensure efficient utilization of Dexcom's CGM technology, as well as conduct & lead presentations in Key Accounts across the Region.

Education and Training :

You will suggest topics and speakers for sophisticated education sessions, for Endocrinologists, Diabetes Educators, Primary Care Specialists & other Health Care Providers working in the Diabetes Space. You will craft and deliver rtCGM certification programs for educators & HCPs new to rtCGM, including Certified Diabetes Educators (CDE) pharmacists.

Clinical Speaker Support :

You will work with Territory Business Managers & Regional Sales Managers in selecting speakers for accredited and non-accredited programs. You will train Speakers on Program Content, attend representative programs, gathering clinical and educational feedback and identifying learning gaps for future programs. You will address outstanding learning needs and identify potential Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).

Knowledge Dissemination :

You will share clinical insights gained from interactions with KOLs with the commercial team and present highlights from conferences (on-label) to internal teams and adapt presentations for external speakers when vital.

Training and Collaboration :

You will help train speakers on slide and clinical content, as well as support TBM clinical training. You will interact with KOLs to disseminate clinical insights from conferences and trials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for clinical aspects when interacting with external partners, including market access teams. You will provide feedback and insights to the regional sales manager to contribute to the development of regional strategies, tactics, and internal training.

Policy Development and Commercial Goals :

You will work collaboratively with Market Access and regional sales managers to develop regional initiatives crafting local, regional, and provincial health policies and be a key member of the commercial organization, actively contributing to and being accountable for achieving commercial goals.

Aperçu du poste :

Le gestionnaire de compte clinique de Dexcom joue un rôle crucial dans le soutien de l’équipe de vente en tant que ressource clinique, grâce à son expertise dans les soins aux personnes vivant avec le diabète. Le rôle consiste à travailler sur le terrain aux côtés des responsables aux ventes du territoire, à fournir un soutien clinique et spécialisé relié aux produits, et à collaborer activement avec les professionnels de la santé afin renforcer la présence de Dexcom sur le marché.

Principales responsabilités :

1. Soutien à l’équipe des ventes :

Collaborer étroitement avec les responsables aux ventes des territoires (TBM) pour soutenir les initiatives de ventes.

Effectuer des visites régulières sur le terrain et offrir un soutien clinique et spécialisé aux produits afin d’assurer une utilisation optimale de la technologie SCG de Dexcom.

Animer et effectuer des présentations auprès des comptes principaux du territoire

2. Éducation et formation :

Proposer des sujets et des conférenciers pour les séances d’éducation avancée, pour les endocrinologues, les éducateurs en diabète, les spécialistes en soins primaires et les autres professionnels de la santé qui travaillent dans le domaine du diabète.

Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des programmes de certification sur la SCGtr pour les éducateurs et les professionnels de la santé qui débutent dans la SCGtr, y compris les pharmaciens spécialisés dans le domaine du diabète ou éducateurs agréés en diabète.

3. Soutien aux conférenciers cliniques  :

Collaborer avec les responsables aux ventes des territoires et les gestionnaires régionaux des ventes afin de sélectionner les conférenciers pour les programmes accrédités et non accrédités.

Former les conférenciers sur le contenu du programme

Participer à des programmes d’éducation avec les responsables aux ventes, recueillir des commentaires cliniques et éducatifs et identifier des besoins d’apprentissage pour les programmes futurs.

Répondre aux besoins d’apprentissage et identifier les leaders d’opinion clés (KOL) potentiels pour les agents de liaison en sciences médicales (MSL).

4. Diffusion des connaissances  :

Partager les connaissances cliniques acquises lors des interactions avec les KOL avec l’équipe de ventes.

Présenter les points forts des conférences (selon les approbations de Santé Canada) aux équipes internes et adapter les présentations pour les conférenciers externes au besoin.

5. Formation et Collaboration :

Participer à la formation des conférenciers sur les diapositives et le contenu clinique, et soutenir la formation clinique des représentants aux ventes.

Interagir avec les KOL pour diffuser les connaissances cliniques issues des conférences et des études cliniques.

6. Collaboration interfonctionnelle  :

Servir d’expert conseil (SME) pour les aspects cliniques lors des interactions avec des parties prenantes externes, y compris les équipes d’accès au marché.

Fournir des commentaires et des idées au gestionnaire régional des ventes afin de contribuer à l’élaboration de stratégies régionales, de tactiques et de formations internes.

7. Développement de politiques et de buts commerciaux

Travailler en collaboration avec l’équipe d’Accès aux marchés et les gestionnaires régionaux des ventes afin de développer des initiatives régionales permettant de façonner les politiques de santé locales, régionales et provinciales.

Être un membre clé de l’organisation commerciale, en contribuant activement à l’atteinte des buts commerciaux et en démontrant de l’imputabilité.

Qualifications :

Minimum de 8-12 années d’expérience clinique en soins du diabète.

Connaissance approfondie de la technologie SCG de Dexcom et expertise dans la catégorie générale des technologies de SCGtr.

Solides compétences de communication et de présentation, et capacité à s’adapter à différents publics.

Expérience de soutien aux équipes de ventes et de collaboration avec des équipes interfonctionnelles.

Formation pertinente en soins de santé ou dans un domaine connexe.

Maitrise de la langue française et l’anglaise.

Ce rôle exige une personne dynamique et proactive, capable de combler efficacement les aspects cliniques et commerciaux des activités de Dexcom afin assurer un succès continu sur le marché des soins du diabète.
