About the Role Coaches are principal players in the execution of all TOCA Strikers programming to ensure that all individual aspects of the program are fulfilled. Coaches focus efforts on executing programs as designed and speaking with local families weekly about why TOCA Strikers is vital in child development and growth. Hours 15 - 25 hours a week Morning, Afternoon, and Weekend availability is required Staff must work at least one Weekend day Job Duties & Responsibilities Conducts soccer activities with children, setting an upbeat and enthusiastic tone. Provides encouragement and coaching during activities to help children gain skills. Monitors the safe use of equipment. Manages positive participation among all children. Greets and dismisses children from classes. Leads sports stations. Conducts birthday parties. Skills / Qualifications High School or College level club soccer playing experience is preferred Outgoing, and passion for sports and children ages 18 months to 6 years old Customer-oriented with parents and caregivers. Effective discipline skills. Good communication with parents, coworkers, superiors, and children. Knowledge of curriculum and company standards. Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend and lift up to 50 lbs. sports equipment and supplies.
