Role Description

This is a contract role for a Medical Office Assistant Instructor located in Coquitlam, BC. As an MOA instructor, you will be responsible for delivering lessons in Medical Terminology and / or Medical Office Procedures, Billing, & Clinical Practice to students in a classroom setting. Your tasks will include teaching medical office assistant skills, conducting assessments, providing feedback to students, and ensuring a positive learning environment. This is an on-site role, and you will be based at our Coquitlam location.

Qualifications

Teaching or training experience is required
Experience as a Medical Office Assistant or in a related healthcare role is required
Experience with Medical Billing and EMR
Proficient in Microsoft Office including the use of MS Teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Patient and empathetic approach
Work Permit
