Location :  Hillcrest Centre, 40 Eastwood Street, Hamilton, ON L8H 6R7 Schedule : Monday to Friday between 7 : 00am to 6 : 00pm shifts Pay Rate (includes wage grants) : RECE : $27.79  per hour Non-RECE : $23.79  per hour Why Work with Us?

Who We’re Looking For Experience : Minimum 1-year experience working directly with children, OR related experience in a childcare setting, working with school-age children is preferred  but not required Education : Diploma in a field related to childcare such as Early Childhood Education is an advantage A Diploma in Child & Youth Worker, Child and Youth Care, OCT, Education Assistant, Social Worker, or Recreation & Leisure may also be considered.

Certifications : Member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) is preferred but not required Standard First Aid with CPR Level C Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check Up-to-date immunization for TB, Tetanus, and MMR Skills : Knowledge of the Ministry of Education’s How Does Learning Happen framework is an asset.

Characteristics : Willingness to work in an on-call capacity with flexible scheduling Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, within the 7 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM time frame.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, flexible environment with minimal supervision Flexibility and adaptability to be assigned in multiple locations, with minimal supervision.
