The Role : As an LPN in LTC, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional services to patients.
Responsibilities :
Conduct assessments, collect data, and provide basic nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
Assist with patient education and support, including managing patient and family expectations and concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning and coordination efforts.
Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Current, unrestricted LPN license in your province.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Canada.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
