Job descriptionEnglish Job Description Follows French MHIRJ Chief Pilot \ Pilote en Chef Le pilote en chef MHIRJ (MCP) fournit des conseils et un soutien d'experts sur toutes les questions d'exploitation / sécurité des vols et crée un lien intégral entre le département d'ingénierie du MHIRJ et les opérateurs aériens, ses partenaires et diverses agences.Ils sont le principal point de contact de nos opérateurs mondiaux et s'efforcent d'établir des relations solides avec la communauté pilote ; ainsi que de maintenir un dialogue continu en vue d'obtenir un soutien continu sur les questions techniques opérationnelles et liées aux pilotes pour la flotte d'avions CRJ Series.Le MCP joue un rôle de coordination et de guidage dans l'élaboration et la révision des manuels d'exploitation de vol (FOM), des notes d'opérations aériennes (FON), des mémos d'ingénierie et d'autres documents où l'expertise du pilote est requise.Le MCP participe au soutien des activités d'ingénierie liées à la certification, à la sécurité et aux publications techniques.Ce rôle est principalement basé dans un environnement de bureau et offre une flexibilité hybride de travail à domicile du lundi au vendredi qui permet un équilibre idéal entre travail et vie privée et une opportunité globale.Le MCP relève du vice-président principal et de l'ingénieur en chef et participe aux activités de l'équipe de direction élargie.Des déplacements occasionnels peuvent être nécessaires.Les responsabilités du rôle comprennent (sans s’y limiter) : Établir et maintenir une relation solide avec les opérateurs aériensFournir des mises à jour opérationnelles régulières à la communauté pilote.Promouvoir les meilleures pratiques et les normes opérationnelles du MHIRJ,Organiser et co-présider le Comité directeur des opérations aériennes (FOSC) pourSoutenir les réunions du Comité de Pilotage Technique (TSC).Devenez l'expert en la matière (SME) désigné par MHI RJ, qui travaille en étroite collaboration avec les fabricants de simulateurs d'avion et les fournisseurs de formation agréés (ATP) pour garantir le maintien continu de la plus haute qualité de la formation des pilotes et des normes.Fournir une expertise opérationnelle aux départements internes (assistance technique, ingénierie en service, représentants de service sur le terrain).Élaborer du matériel d'orientation et d'autres documents pour une distribution interne et externe.Soutenir les visites des clients, les briefings des pilotes sur site, ainsi que la surveillance et l'évaluation en vol pour aider les opérateurs à améliorer les opérations globales, l'efficacité énergétique et la sécurité des vols.Fournir un support direct aux clients et coordonner les réponses aux requêtes avec les départements internes (ingénierie, support client et produit).Visiter les opérateurs de CRJ partout dans le monde, organiser des briefings pour les pilotes, assurer la surveillance en vol et fournir un soutien aux pilotes (au besoin). This role is based in an office environment. It’s an excellent opportunity for a pilot to bring their flying experience to a role of an expert advisor, who will guide and support the industry. We leverage a hybrid work model – 2 days onsite / 3 days from home - enabling an ideal work / life balance. The MCP reports into the Senior Vice President and Chief Engineer and participates in activities of the extended leadership team. They are the main point of contact for our world-wide operators and strive to build strong relationships with their pilot community; as well as maintain an on-going dialogue and continued support on operational and pilot-related technical queries for the CRJ Series fleet.The MCP participates in supporting engineering activities related to certification, safety, and technical publications. The MCP will help coordinator and maintain a guiding role in the development and revision of Flight Operating Manuals (FOMs), Flight Operations Notes (FONs), Engineering Memos, and other documentation where pilot expertise is required.Role’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to) : Establish and maintain a strong relationship with airline operators around the globeProvide regular operational updates to the pilot communityPromote best practices & MHIRJ operational standards; organize and co-chair the Flight Operations Steering Committee (FOSC)Support the Technical Steering Committee (TSC) meetings; present on select topics at Maintenance Meetings and Operators ConferencesBecome the Designated MHIRJ Subject Matter Expert (SME), who works very closely with aircraft simulator manufacturers and authorized training providers (ATP) to ensure the highest quality of pilot training and standards are continuously maintainedProvide operational expertise to internal departments (Technical Help Desk, In-Service Engineering, Field Service Representatives)Develop guidance material and other documents for both internal and external distributionSupport customer visits, on-site pilot briefings, and in-flight monitoring and assessment to assist operators in improving overall operations, fuel efficiency and safety of flight.Provide direct support to customers and coordinate responses for queries with internal departments (Engineering, Customer and Product Support).Visit CRJ operators around the world, conduct pilot briefings, provide in-flight monitoring, and pilot support (as required).
