Chief Financial Officer

Lakeland Holding Ltd. is the holding company for Lakeland Power Distribution Ltd., Lakeland Generation, Lakeland Networks & Lakeland Solutions. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO is a critical member of the Lakeland Holding leadership team and will have direct accountability for all finance activities for the business.  The CFO will contribute to the refinement of the strategy and development of operational goals and objectives for the Corporation and its divisions.  They will develop an understanding of the organization’s ability and readiness to meet the short and long-term objectives for the Corporation and provide advice and counsel to key executives regarding strategic and tactical decisions, including, but not limited to M&A and other investments. The CFO will also prepare and present to the Board of Directors.

The ideal candidate will be a CPA with a minimum of 15 years’ experience including experience in a regulated industry. A sound understanding of maintaining regulatory compliance - ideally an understanding of the Ontario Energy Board’s regulatory requirements.  They will have strong leadership skills with experience leading staff through change and developing a flexible and resilient organizational structure. They will possess the ability to move fluidly between being a key strategic adviser / thought partner with executive leadership and effectively managing the detail-oriented work of financial operations and reporting.
