Description

Areas of Responsibility :

General Management

Promotes and supports the health & safety program.
Develops process control, testing and sampling techniques necessary to control mill processes.
Reviews operating reports and recommend solutions to any deviations from control targets. Provide direct assistance in implement solutions when required.

Policies, Procedures and Controls

Evaluates new or existing processes and equipment to further optimize production, quality and costs.

Audit

Ensures internal and external customer specifications are met or exceeded.

Qualifications :

This position requires a diploma or degree in Science with 2-3 years experience in kraft pulp milling.

Good interpersonal skills, comfortable in a team environment and interacting with others.

Excellent written, verbal, listening and troubleshooting skills.

A record of safety and environmental compliance.

Knowledge of root cause analysis.
