Family Assistant – Teichrib Family Courtenay, BC | Part-Time | 3 Days/Week We’re a busy family in the Comox Valley — both parents run their own businesses — and we’re looking for a reliable, warm, and organized person to help keep our household running smoothly. About Our Family We have three kids (ages 7, 11, and 12) who attend school in Cumberland. We value healthy food, a calm home environment, and good communication. We’re not looking for someone overly formal — just someone genuinely good at what they do who enjoys being part of a busy family’s week. The Role This is a hybrid family assistant position, not a strict nanny or chef role. The core of the job is: • School pickups from Cumberland (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) • Meal prep — healthy family dinners, school lunches, and ready-to-go snacks • Light housekeeping — keeping the kitchen and common areas tidy and organized Schedule We’re ideally looking for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, roughly aligned with school hours. Exact hours are flexible and we’re happy to tailor the schedule to the right person. Hours have the potential to increase over the summer when the kids are home. You’re a Great Fit If You: • Are reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently • Enjoy cooking healthy, family-style meals • Are good with kids and at ease in a busy home • Have experience in nannying, household assistance, hospitality, or a similar role Compensation Competitive and based on experience.
