Territory Manager - General Surgery and Orthopaedics

Are you a real go-getter looking for a new challenge with an exciting company?
On behalf of our client in the healthcare industry, we are looking for a Territory Manager to work closely with surgeons and OR staff to promote an innovative line of products and ensure customer total satisfaction. The Territory Manager will develop new accounts, build relationships with existing accounts, and will be an ambassador for the company’s brand.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sell products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies by determining the relevant factors of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
- With the help of the marketing team, develop innovative programs specific to the regional customer base to drive positive and sustainable growth.
- Develop action plans by analyzing sales figures and reports to identify the needs of particular accounts and discuss issues with Regional Business Manager to help the organization achieve its annual sales goals.
- Observe actual procedures in the operating room of hospital accounts to gain insight into the specific nuances of each physician and each member of the OR staff.
- Establish pricing packages by working with relevant internal personnel to establish price points that address specific customer's needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies.
- Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
- Develop relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts in other departments within hospital and to identify key purchasing decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms to secure purchasing commitments, often with the help of incentive programs and services made available to the account being developed.
- Effectively manage evaluation, loaner, and sales sample inventory and return products in a timely manner and according to company policy.
- Communication and interaction across all levels within a healthcare facility.
