Camp work Jobs in St. John's, NL

Starting June 12th, we are looking for a full-time nanny to join our family until the end of August in St. John's, Newfoundland. We have a 2.5 year old girl and 8.5 year old girl. We require full-time care during the summer, from June 12th until the end of August. During the month of August there may be a third child to look after as well, and the rate will be adjusted for the third child. Hours will be M-F 8am - 4pm, with occasional help on evenings and weekends. We are willing to hire two part-time nannies to share the job. But both must commit to 2 or 3 days every week. Duties include : - Taking children on daily outings around the downtown area, on foot (we have a stroller for the toddler), rain or shine. (eg. the playground, splash pad, pool, Geo Center, the Rooms) - packing a daily bag for outings including water, snacks and lunch, change of clothes, sunscreen etc.. - making lunch for older child for camp and camp drop off / pick up. - light cleaning and organizing around the house, kids laundry, occasional errands and grocery shopping help. - organizing playdates with friends and activities with both kids - committing to keeping kids off of screens except the occasional movie for the older child. - helping the children clean up toys daily and cleaning up before leaving for the day - other related duties as needed We need someone who is experienced in childcare and caring for multiple children at the same time. Someone who can provide a safe, nurturing environment for our children. The ideal candidate should love children, be adept at engaging them in age-appropriate activities and ensuring their well-being, and have a familiarity with downtown St. John's. We appreciate candidates who can take charge and do not require a lot of direction from us (after the initial learning period).
