The Assistant Director will work alongside the Director to learn the tasks of the job in preparation to step into the Director's position in the following year. From January to April the Assistant Director will work 5 hours per week. During this time duties will include writing grant proposals, scheduling workshops and hiring summer staff . From May to August the Assistant Director will work full-time supervising staff , performing administrative duties, overseeing curriculum development, fundraising (grant applications), marketing, delivering workshops and camps, as well as working with parents, campers and instructors to solve problems. For the month of September the Assistant Director may be required to work part-time to conclude summer programming reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Assistant Director of Eureka! must have prior experience working with children in an educational or camp setting
