Job Description
WHAT'S THE JOB?
Reporting to the District Manager, we are looking for dynamic and confident Chef Manager (Floater) to join our Dana Hospitality site across the GTA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Providing supervision, guidance, and support to all Dana Hospitality kitchen staff
- Providing training and development through coaching and mentoring, delegation of assigned job tasks and employee evaluation and performance management
- Working with the District Manager and Regional Chef to achieve personal and company goals
- Meet with District Manager on a weekly basis to discuss operational needs and requirements
- Menu planning
- Food costing
- Ordering and inventory management and clients.
- Ensuring that the client is satisfied with the overall service, cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining facilities.
- Manage quality assurance program
- Perform weekly and monthly audits
- Complete weekly report and review weekly expenditures (maintain food and labour budget)
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and complete all required safety paperwork
