About this role

We are recruiting for an Administrator, Service Management Software to join our Burnaby, Victoria, or Kelowna office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

This position Serves as the Super User and subject matter expert for Houle's Service Management Software.

Your responsibilities

  • Set up and configure the service management platform to align with the organization's specific needs, service types, and workflows, including creating custom fields, templates, and system settings
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees with technical software questions or issues over the phone or email, ensuring a positive user experience
  • Develop and maintain new Standard Operating Procedures and training materials
  • Train new users and provide ongoing support, including demonstrating the platform's features, best practices, and helping users become proficient in using the platform
  • Engage directly with the platform's support team to troubleshoot issues or coordinate with internal IT to resolve complex issues
  • Manage user access, permissions, and roles within platform, including adding new users, removing inactive accounts, and ensuring appropriate access levels
  • Maintain data integrity, backups, and archiving in the platform to keep track of service data, documents, and historical information
  • Provide regular updates and other communications regarding platform or process improvements

Your experience and skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative and technical support role
  • Familiar with various software application programs and platforms
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn new computer systems
  • Resourceful and problem-solving aptitude
  • Self-motivated with a team oriented and patient approach to interacting with others
  • Understanding of service operations and life cycle is an asset
  • Prior experience using service management software or similar software an asset
  • Work experience in the construction, electrical and / or technology industry an asset
