We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team and drive growth within the manufacturing and construction sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our products / services to increase market share. Key Responsibilities :
Lead Generation & Prospecting :
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold outreach.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads in the manufacturing and construction sectors.
Client Relationship Management :
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and decision-makers.
Understand client needs and present tailored solutions to address their challenges.
Sales & Negotiation :
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales pitches.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business deals.
Market Analysis & Strategy :
Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and strategies.
Collaboration & Reporting :
Work cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, marketing, and operations) to align on business objectives.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline status using CRM software.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
3+ years of business development or sales experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial sectors.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and construction processes, industry trends, and key players.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
