Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Process Optimization Intern to assist in identifying, developing, testing and implementing automated / streamlined solutions within our Finance department. This role will provide valuable hands-on experience in finance processes and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing finance processes to identify areas for automation and streamlining.
Collaborate with finance team members to gather requirements and understand workflows.
Develop and implement automated solutions using tools such as Excel, Power BI, VBA, MS Forms and Power Automate.
Assist in testing automated processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Document processes and provide training / support to team members on new processes & tools.
Provide status reports on projects in progress

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Solid level of knowledge of excel with an interest in learning.

Comfortable with programming languages (especially VBA)

Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and / or Power BI would be an asset

Basic understanding of accounting and related processes

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks.
