Our client in the manufacturing sector is is seeking an experienced Workday Consultant to address and optimize an existing Workday implementation.
This role involves conducting a comprehensive assessment of the current configuration, resolving ongoing challenges, and providing guidance on best practices for system integrity and data management. The consultant will work closely with the HR IT team and stakeholders to address gaps, improve downstream workflows, and ensure system reliability.
Duration : 3 - 6 months
Location : Hybrid - Toronto
Key Responsibilities :
Evaluate the existing Workday implementation to identify misconfigurations and inefficiencies.
Conduct a detailed data assessment to determine why configurations were implemented and how they can be improved.
Address challenges such as reactivated profiles, incorrect reporting structures, and non-standard data entry.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting downstream workflows and integrations.
Review and recommend improvements to the current integration pattern (e.g., SFTP) for scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with HR IT leads and stakeholders to define requirements and action plans.
Provide training or guidance to internal teams to ensure smooth system operation post-engagement.
Assist in identifying and rectifying data cleanup issues.
Support the migration of key personnel into the IT structure, ensuring a seamless transition.
Act as a temporary point of contact to monitor and maintain the Workday environment, avoiding disruptions during the engagement.
Requirements :
Proven experience in Workday implementation, optimization, and support.
Strong expertise in system integration, particularly with SFTP or similar patterns.
Solid understanding of HR and IT workflows, including user profiles, reporting structures, and data entry standards.
Ability to conduct detailed data assessments and recommend practical solutions.
