Key Responsibilities :
Product Design and Testing
- Produce CAD drawings of products and variations, in 2D draft & 3D
- modelling
- Update product drawings to meet industry and customer standards such
- as RoHS compliant
- In a back-up capacity, produce Bills of Material / product, structures for
- new product
- Participate in product, testing, and qualification programs
- Produce test fixtures as required
- Proof / validate drawings and specifications developed by others

Fluent in written and spoken English
Mandarin speaking is optional
QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. University degree in the same discipline
preferred but not required.
Experience Required :
A. Minimum 2 years as Junior Engineer or in any Mechanical Engineering related experience in
manufacturing environment
B. Intermediate in 2D & 3D Model Methodology with beginner level of GD&T
C. Experienced in BOM or part number creation
D. Experienced in engineering specifications such as test report, product specs, instruction manual or
brochure
E. Intermediate level in 3D Modelling using Solid Works and CAD drafting (AutoCAD or Draftsight)
F. Experience in component design working with a design engineer, preferably in connector or related
industry.
G. Some level of experience in additive manufacturing
Skills Required :
A. Good planning & organizational skills
B. Proficient in MS Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
C. Intermediate level in CAD Tools such as Solid works, AutoCAD, or Draft sight
