Salary range (but not limited to):

109,900 - 134,300

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Senior Product Owner - SIEM Specialist!

As part of the Detection Engineering team, you will be the Senior Product Owner, as well as a SIEM Engineer (50% of your time).

What you’ll do here

  • Communicates with stakeholders to define the products or products' category vision and strategy ensuring their interests are included in the release.

  • Follows-up with stakeholders and senior management on a need basis.

  • Inspires the team to deliver best-in-class products.

  • Responsible for the business aspects of the project including ensuring the right products are being built in the right order and release is developed by the deadlines.

  • Ensures consistency between products.

  • Leads, plans, tracks and is accountable for all phases of the products life cycle from the beginning of the project to the introduction into the marketplace.

  • Responsible for products and/or products category evolution.

  • Ensures compliance with Intact group policies and standards.

  • Supervises and accompanies resources on internal and external audits

  • Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes or resource additions.

  • Ensures business objectives and targets are met through data analytics, and feedback.

  • Determines products KPIs and objectives.

  • Discovers and proposes new product ideas & design, develops concepts to strategically enhance existing products or product extensions.

  • Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products.

What you bring to the table:

  • SIEM with Microsoft Sentinel, AWS and GCP.

  • SIEM/SOAR automation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

  • 5 to 7 years in cybersecurity.

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT Security monitoring (SIEM, SOAR, XDR, TIP).

  • Certified Product Owner (CSPO, PSPO I, PSPO II) will be considered an asset.

  • Good understanding of the Agile development process and best practices.

  • Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Your experience and application knowledge in the insurance field, an asset.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) –

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
