What you will be doing :

Provide consistently professional friendly and engaging service to guests at all banquet events.

Assist guests with beverage and food menu selections offering knowledgeable and helpful recommendations.

Serve food and beverages for assigned banquet meetings adhering to service standards.

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all menu items garnishes ingredients and preparation methods.

Maintain awareness of beverage lists and promotional offerings.

Follow all safety sanitation and outlet policies and procedures when handling food and beverages.

Complete other duties as assigned contributing to the overall guest experience.

Qualifications :

What we are looking for :

Previous frontofhouse customer service experience required.

Valid Serving It Right certification is mandatory.

Experience with pointofsale systems is an asset.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Fluency in both official languages (English and French) is required.

Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities.

Highly responsible reliable and able to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.

Ability to remain calm and courteous while focusing on guest needs.

A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings weekends and overnights.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
