Collective Arts Brewing Co.Hamilton, ON, CA- Full-time
We are looking for a communications leader and master storyteller to shape and amplify the Collective Arts voice across every channel. Reporting directly to our VP, Brand & Strategy, the Director, Communications will oversee our narrative strategy by driving how we show up culturally, creatively, and consistently across internal and external platforms.
This role requires a strategic, creative thinker who brings exceptional writing, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of modern communications. You’ll be the lead on everything from major brand campaigns and PR moments to daily storytelling. In this role you will ensure Collective Arts’ brand ethos remains authentic, relevant, and creative.
This role will require you to be on site at our offices in Hamilton Ontario every Tuesday and Thursday.
A typical day as Director, Communications includes :
- Building and executing a holistic communications strategy spanning social media, PR, influencer relations, and internal communications.
- Overseeing content planning, publishing, and storytelling across many platforms including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media
- Working with the VP, Brand and Strategy to manage media relations by drafting press releases, pitching stories, developing talking points, and responding to media inquiries
- Leading internal communications and working with Human Resources to craft timely internal updates, ensure transparency, and aligning internal teams with business priorities.
- Working directly with the Design / Content, Spaces, Brand, and E-Commerce teams to ensure messaging consistency across all touchpoints.
- Guiding strategic partnerships, public relations initiatives, and major campaign launches from concept through execution.
- Managing the current communications team consisting of Communications Coordinator, interns, and external creators
- Overseeing influencer partnerships and content creators to ensure storytelling remains fresh, authentic, and aligned with the Collective Arts brand
- Reviewing analytics, reporting on campaign performance, and optimizing future communications based on insights.
- There may be needs to work a few evening and weekends attending events and brand activations
