JOB SUMMARY :
The Field Merchandiser oversees merchandising initiatives and departmental practices, providing leadership and training to achieve profitable operation of the Bakery departments within the assigned district. The Field Merchandiser ensures that strategic operational goals are achieved and a positive environment. The Field Merchandiser is responsible for the development of all indirect reports, to include department team leaders and all department store team members. The individual is expected to be a role model of the company by driving results while maintaining company core values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following : Operational Excellence :

- Provides guidance to Department Team Leaders to connect the metrics to business processes and focus on continuous improvement strategies to achieve business objectives;
- Maintains all metrics on the weekly operations dashboard;
- Evaluates and adjusts in-store and above-store process (time, tools, MAP);
- Clearly communicates and enforces standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions and food safety to all team members;
