About The Role
Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the Heavy Equipment Technician is a full time position responsible for completing miscellaneous repairs and maintenance on all types of equipment including trucks and trailers.
As a Heavy Equipment Technician at Standard General, you will :
- Diagnose and conduct all major and minor equipment repairs.
- Service equipment as required by supervisor.
- Work closely with apprentices as required by supervisor.
- Keep a clean and safe work environment.
- Complete job tasks in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner.
- Order materials / parts required to complete repairs.
- Other duties as required.
