Job description

At the heart of building mechanics projects youll work with our metropolitan area team on a variety of projects in the commercial residential industrial institutional and hospital sectors. This position offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and to be part of a team of engineers technicians and draftsmen working on stimulating projects. Youll also be part of a passionate team where initiative and trust are strongly encouraged.

We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement combining telecommuting and office work. If you have a bachelors degree in building services engineering with at least 5 years experience and are a member of the Ordre des ingnieurs du Qubec wed love to hear from you!

Main responsibilities

Actively participate in the design and development of plans and specifications for building mechanical systems (ventilation air conditioning plumbing heating and cooling).
Determine construction costs and quantities
Conduct surveys and studies write technical reports
Participate in the resolution of technical problems
Write progress reports and contribute to the development of action plans
Act as a resource person for the team
Prepare and monitor fee budgets and make recommendations
Participate in partial supervision of work
Attend customer meetings.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in mechanical building engineering

Minimum 5 years relevant experience

Member of the Ordre des ingnieurs du Qubec (OIQ)

Fluency in spoken and written French

Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle (an asset)

ASP Construction card.
