Management Position (Vaughan) in SCM / Analytics
Job Description
The Management Department at Niagara University invites applications for a full time, tenure-track faculty position in Supply Chain Management and Analytics at the Assistant Professor rank, beginning in August 2025 at our Vaughan, ON campus.
Job Requirements
The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Operations Management (OM), or Management with a concentration in SCM or OM, or an equivalent area. This degree should be completed by the time of appointment. In addition to courses in SCM / OM, the position will have to teach the MBA core course in business analytics and data management, so applicants with significant experience analytics will be strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate success or the potential for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Applicants will be required to certify that they are authorized to work in Canada, and the successful candidate must provide timely documentation of identity and employment eligibility. The compensation package is competitive for AACSB accredited institutions.
Job Duties
As a tenure-track faculty member, the hired candidate will be required to teach three courses in each of the fall and spring semesters, publish impactful scholarly research and participate in service (committees, advisement, etc.) to the department, college and university. Attendance at periodic meetings and holding regular in-person office hours will also be expected. The courses assigned will be primarily at the graduate-level, though they may include other areas as department needs dictate - as well as a mix of traditional (face-to-face) and online formats. Primary responsibilities for this position will be in Canada.
