Job description

This is an interview position.


To provide coordination, implementation, instruction and evaluation of a range of operational training programs within specialized Ramp areas and provide assistance to determining solutions for performance problems. Training programs include but are not limited to Ramp New Hire Orientation, Aircraft Specific Courses and GSE training.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

College Diploma/Equivalent

2 Years of Trunk Ramp Experience

Qualified as a Ramp Agent or Ramp Handler

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record

Must be able to pass RCMP assessment

Current in DG Awareness and Aircraft GSE training

Able to lift 70lbs and to manoeuvre any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment

Solid knowledge of shoring and tiedown

Certification in all FedEx Ramp Training

Mechanical Aptitude for Heavy Equipment Operations

Knowledge of IMS and FAMIS

Basic level of proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Strong presentation skills/public speaking

Strong persuasive/negotiating skills (Interpersonal Dynamics, Human Relations)

Les candidats seront également évalués selon : 1) leur relevé annuel de conduite ; 2) leur performance en entrevue ; et 3) leurs résultats aux évaluations de conduite administrées.
