Laboratory Assistant The technician will support both the quarry and the plant laboratory in Perth, recording and reporting test results, maintaining data in computer-based systems, and performing additional duties as assigned. The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for overseeing the administration of aggregate material truck loads, including associated paperwork and interactions with quarry staff, broker / shipping personnel, and truck drivers. This role primarily involves collecting samples, conducting complex analyses on calcium carbonate or related products, and managing laboratory procedures while utilizing various instrumentation and specialized processing methods.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer truck loads of aggregate material, ensuring accurate paperwork completion.
• Coordinate and communicate with quarry staff, broker / shipping personnel, and truck drivers.

Qualifications :

This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various personnel. While experience in geology or mining is beneficial, it's not a mandatory requirement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a blend of technical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to accurate data analysis and reporting.
