Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our client's team in the marine industry . This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee financial activities, manage personnel, and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and profitability. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
Responsibilities :
Oversee and coordinate all financial operations and team members.
Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and budgets to mitigate risks and optimize returns on investment.
Standardize, maintain, and enhance accounting records, systems, and techniques.
Conduct thorough internal audits to evaluate financial health and compliance.
Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and industry-specific financial regulations.
Act as the primary liaison with external auditors to facilitate seamless audits.
Provide strategic financial guidance to support organizational goals.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in accounting management or a similar role.
Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting standards.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
