Description
We are now recruiting for Assembler to work as part of a growing production team building the latest generation of underwater sensors and systems and other products.
Under close supervision and in accordance with detailed and clearly defined production work instructions :
Assembles parts, components, sub-assemblies and assemblies manipulating a variety of hand tools and productionized semi-automatic assembly equipment.
Basic use of soldering irons and go-no-go gauges
Responsible for operator verification (OV) and reporting
Operate semi-automatic and automatic test sets
Basic use of computers for time and attendance, OV and automatic testing
Meets quality and production standards
Light lifting of assemblies.
Required Skills :
Grade 12 or equivalent experience and capability
The Candidate must be capable of acquiring a security clearance and a Canadian Controlled Goods assessment to the satisfaction of the company.
Desired Skills :
Basic soldering skills
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Willing to meet the physical job demands
Willing to maintain a high level of productivity without compromising quality standards
Attitude : has a positive can-do attitude in everyday work. Is able to deal with and support change.
