Current registration and in good standing with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
Ability to work in all clinical areas throughout the corporation
Recent inpatient acute / critical care experience
Ability to work in all aspects of Respiratory Therapy Services including Sleep Lab
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families and other healthcare professionals
Excellent patient teaching ability
Excellent adult teaching ability
Excellent leadership, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
Willingness to participate in staff meetings, departmental and corporate projects
Willingness and ability to utilize full scope of practice including intubation and arterial line insertion
Commitment to continuous professional development and continuing education
Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
Computer skills including Accessioning and Order Entry
Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, on-call, and ability for multi-site coverage when required
Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
