Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is seeking a full-time Lead Therapist to join the team.
The RCA Lead Therapist will be responsible for daily direct physiotherapy support and national team therapy program implementation for RCA National Team Athletes. The Lead Therapist will operate out of RCA’s National Training Centre (NTC) at Shawnigan or Quamichan Lake (seasonally dependent) or any other location as directed by the needs of the High Performance Program. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and passionate therapist with a Masters degree in physiotherapy (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a key member of an integrated multidisciplinary therapy team working with high performance athletes and teams in injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
This position will require domestic and international travel, with variable hours, including early mornings and weekends. Working knowledge of both Canada’s official languages is an asset.
