The starting annual salary for this full-time School Teacher position ranges from $61,838 to $108,458, with placement on the July 1, 2024 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
Yale Secondary is a dynamic and inclusive learning community of approximately 1185 students. The successful candidate will be have a background in Music. The successful candidate will teach three blocks of mixed grade Art and 1 block of Photography 10.
Education & Experience
- Major / minor in Fine Arts with an emphasis on visual art
- Experience teaching visual art and photography at the secondary level
- Eligible for B.C. Certification
- Satisfactory teacher evaluation and / or final practicum reports
Teaching Competencies
All teachers are expected to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas :
