Job description
Salary: $107,000 - 147,000 per year
Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7 to 10 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in both English and French
- Comfortable working with various open-source technologies, databases, tools, and cloud services
- Back-End: Typescript, Node.js, Firebase Cloud Functions, NestJS
- Database: Firestore, MSSQL
- Front-End: Angular, Angular Material, Bootstrap, Typescript, SCSS
- Cloud: Firebase, Google Cloud Platform
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Firebase Hosting
- Additional skills: Ionic/Cordova, Java, Spring Boot
- Actively engage in full-stack development of application features
- Participate in technical design and implementation of solutions
- Be involved in the complete development cycle (analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance)
- Serve as a model of technical quality, best practices, and software discipline
- Take part in project planning and ensure alignment with application objectives
- Monitor task progress, identify challenges, and assist in swift resolutions
- Represent the development team in inter-team discussions (reviews, planning, strategic decisions)
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement
- Advocate for best practices in development, architecture, and documentation
- Cultivate a deep understanding of the companys business processes, products, and services to create technical solutions that address user needs
