The Solution Expert assesses any new business needs requiring IT solution development and evolution, manages the realization of the functional requirements and validates the requested development, before user acceptance. This person is an expert within their product domain and works closely with the product and business owners to assist in business technology strategic development, solution discovery, and service management. This person serves as the functional point of contact for the Order to Cash process (Order Management, Billing, Pricing, etc.)Collaborate with each business line in the definition of business requirements and ensure scope of work and business cases are clearly defined within their projects.Assists the business users and the technical support team in application support for critical issues.Acts as the liaison between business users, PMO, and IT technical teams.Ensure that IT resources (people, costs, systems, hardware) are aligned with business needs.Create shared vision of their respective solutions and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platformsDrive IT innovation, best practices, and cost efficiencies to improve the financial and operational performance of the business operationsDocuments the functional designs for all enhancements and projects.Works with the technical teams in the execution and design of application enhancements and digital projects.Prioritize and delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate IT personnel as neededAssists in the execution of the Digital and IT road map.Process improvement : Works with his / her team as well as with cross-functional teams to continuously improve work processes.
