Position overview

We’re looking for a Canadian resident for the role of Marketing Associate who’s excited to help shape our brand presence and engage a passionate community of users. In this dynamic entry-level role, you’ll play an essential part in expanding our brand’s reach and fostering a vibrant community of sports lovers. With opportunities for growth and hands-on experience in digital marketing, this is a perfect role for someone looking to make a real impact at a fast-growing startup.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Campaigns : Work with the team to design and implement digital marketing strategies across social media, email marketing, and website updates.
Content Creation : Create engaging content for our social media channels, email newsletters, and blogs that resonates with our community.
Conduct Market Research : Analyze industry trends and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities for the Sportal’s growth.
Track Performance Metrics : Use tools like Google Analytics to monitor and report on campaign performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
Engage with the Community : Grooming of the Sports Facilities, and the sports enthusiast circle at Sportal. Moreover, manage our social media presence, actively responding to user questions and comments to foster engagement.
Support Promotional Events : Assist in organizing events and promotional activities that boost brand visibility and engage our user base.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience : 1–2 years in marketing, ideally with a focus on digital marketing.

Technical skills : Experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, social media, email marketing).

Communication skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Personal Attributes : Creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about sports and marketing; able to work independently, and as a part of team.
