Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, sales-oriented individual for the role of Sales Coordinator – No experience is required! As a Sales Coordinator, you will work as part of a team representing Manitobas premier Hospitality Service Provider. This engaging and dynamic position offers an attractive salary and benefits package with opportunities for career path development.
A Sales Coordinator is a Sales Team member responsible for representing all Destination Centres in communications with the public/clients. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for executing sales duties in accordance with the Sales Plan, and effectively managing the documentation and communication of event details.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare banquet event orders.
- Communicate effectively with guests, managers, and employees to ensure successful event execution.
- Be well versed on menu offerings, guestroom types, and the variety of setup styles.
- Responsible for booking re-occurring monthly meetings as assigned.
- Prepare Function Calendars identifying major groups and conferences.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience preferred in the hospitality industry.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel).
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Self-Motivated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
