Your opportunity :
The Office of the Faculty Registrar works closely with departments and colleges regarding all matters relating to Arts & Science students. We are dedicated to making the A&S student experience as smooth and seamless as possible. We coordinate and administer a variety of services and programming to support registration and enrolment, student records, transfer credit, petitions, final examinations, and graduation.
Reporting to the Associate Faculty Registrar & Director, Student Recruitment and Admissions, the incumbent is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, training, and coordination of the admissions team in Office of the Faculty Registrar (OFR). In addition to ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the admission file assessment process, the incumbent informs the review and assessment of scholarship decisions and oversees the review of admission appeals to the Faculty. The incumbent works closely with the Associate Director, Student Recruitment and the Associate Director, Relationship Management and Events to inform and execute strategic recruitment and admissions plans.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Overseeing day-to-day service delivery requirements and operational needs
- Analyzing service delivery and / or internal processes and recommending improvements
- Determining logistical details required for the execution of admissions processes
- Providing consultation and advice on the application of University policies and procedures
- Analyzing and making recommendations on award funding allocation
- Preparing complex statistical information for inclusion in recruitment plans
- Directing the activities of a group of staff-appointed employees all performing a similar function
