KidsAbility Foundation raises public awareness and financial support to empower children and youth with disabilities to thrive. Last year, over 17,000 children and youth benefited from services and supports provided by KidsAbility throughout Waterloo Region and Wellington County.
Executive Administrative Assistant
Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours a week), Hybrid
Summary of Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), this role is based in Waterloo with the following key responsibilities :
- Provides administrative support and assistance coordinating information, timelines and key deliverables to the ED, Board of Directors and Standing Committees
- Manage all meeting logistics of the Foundation Board and committees including workplans, calendars, the board portal, room bookings, agendas and minutes
- Assist with onboarding of new Foundation board and committee members’
- Liaise and manage communication to the Board and committees in collaboration with the ED
- Manage the day-to-day office logistics of the Foundation
- Assist with policy updates and Imagine Canada Standards compliance and accreditation
- Welcome donors and visitors to the Foundation and support enquiries by phone and email
- Provide support for internal and external events as required
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as required
More About You :
As the ideal candidate for this position, you have two or more years of administrative experience, ideally supporting a charitable board of directors and / or senior staff, in addition to :
