Accounting Manager – $110K
Coquitlam, BC | Full-Time, Permanent
Are you a CPA-designated professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join a fast-paced and growing organization in the restoration / construction services sector. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and the drive to “get things done.”
What You’ll Do :
Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Prepare variance analysis and provide insights to senior leadership.
Manage and support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
Oversee and mentor accounting staff while ensuring accuracy across AP, AR, and payroll.
Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP / IFRS / ASPE standards.
Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements across multiple entities.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
What We’re Looking For :
CPA designation with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong technical skills in IFRS / ASPE reporting and consolidations.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (Dynamics, Oracle, or similar).
Proven ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A problem solver with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Strong communication skills – able to interact with leadership, colleagues, and vendors.
Leadership potential : someone who can grow with the role and take on greater responsibility over time.
