THE ROLE
As an Accounting Clerk, you will perform accounting-related tasks utilizing knowledge of the entire accounting cycle. Your duties may include account payables, account
receivables, cash handling and account / bank reconciliations completed in a
computerized financial system.
You will receive source documents, verify for compliance and enter in the book of accounts. You will calculate, verify, prepare and issue financial documents and / or reports while ensuring accuracy and integrity.
This is a hands-on role, requiring the ability to efficiently manage tasks with defined
priorities and fixed monthly deadlines. Strong computer skills; including knowledge of
excel, customer service skills and an aptitude to learn is important.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years of experience in accounting
Experience
In accounting
In data entry, data manipulation, record-keeping and retrieval techniques
In drafting correspondence and reports
In office administration
In providing customer service
In maintaining electronic and manual filing systems
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and
leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset
Reading : Basic
Writing : Basic
