Accountant StaffingSt. John's, NLWe are seeking qualified Bookkeepers / Accounting Technicians for a variety of roles and opportunities with clients across Newfoundland and Labrador . As an ideal candidate, you are experienced in day-to-day accounting and take pride in maintaining accurate financial records and providing top-tier support to businesses and clients in various industries.
Key Responsibilities for the Job :
Manage AP & AR processes Reconcile bank and credit card statements and credit card transactions Prepare and process payroll General financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Assist with month-end and year-end closing Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations Provide support and assistance to accounting teams and management as needed
Experience & Attributes for Success :
Post-secondary education in Accounting or Business and / or minimum 3 years' relevant, hands-on experience Proficiency within a variety of software programs, notably QuickBooks, Sage, and / or Excel Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Professional and positive communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities
